Miley Cyrus apparently doesn’t like “Breaking Bad,” the AMC television series that just won five awards at the 65th Primetime Emmy Awards show, according to an interview with Rolling Stone that Us Weekly quoted. The star got a tattoo on the bottom of her foot to commemorate the discussion with the magazine and even opened up about other popular TV series such as “American Horror Story” and “Downton Abbey.”
“‘Breaking Bad’ I just got into, but I haven’t been able to keep up with it as much,” the 20-year-old star said. “There’s just a lot of him coughing. I’m in the first season, and the coughing is driving me crazy.”
Cyrus added: “Like, we get it. You’re dying. Do you really need a whole two-minute scene of another cough attack? It’s too much. In every bad situation, how does he get out? He just starts coughing.”
The award-winning show centers on Walter White (Bryan Cranston), a terminally ill high-school chemistry teacher who begins manufacturing methamphetamine to help provide for his family. The groundbreaking show will come to a conclusion when its final episode premieres this Sunday.
Although Cyrus might not be a fan of “Breaking Bad,” she does enjoy another television favorite: FX’s creepy series “American Horror Story.”
“‘American Horror Story’ is my favorite show -- it’s so good, so scary,” she revealed. “I think I’m gonna start ‘Downton Abbey’ next, but I don’t know if it’s my vibe. I always thought that s--- was too hipster.”
Cyrus added she’s not into trendy drugs, either. Even though everyone in Hollywood is apparently doing cocaine, she prefers “fun” drugs such as MDMA, alias molly, and marijuana, alias weed. “Hollywood is a coke town, but weed is so much better. And molly, too. Those are happy drugs -- social drugs. They make you want to be with friends. You’re out in the open. You’re not in a bathroom,” the infamous twerker told the magazine.
It looks like Cyrus will be missing the “Breaking Bad” series finale on Sunday at 9 p.m. EDT, but “American Horror Story: Coven” is set to kick off on Oct. 9.
