China's November exports rose 12.7 percent from a year ago, topping analysts' forecast of a 7.1 percent increase, the General Administration of Customs said on Sunday in Beijing. Meanwhile, imports rose 5.3 percent -- lower than the 7.2 percent rise expected -- leaving the country with a trade surplus of $33.8 billion for the month. That compared with a trade surplus of $21.7 billion recorded in October.
