The first quarter of the 2013 NFL season didn’t go exactly as many experts predicted. The NFC, which was expected to be the dominant conference, is home to 11 of the 13 teams that have a losing record.

One NFC team that has lived up to the hype has been the Seattle Seahawks. They’ll participate in, maybe, the most highly-anticipated matchup of the week when they visit the Indianapolis Colts. It’s the first time Russell Wilson and Andrew Luck will face off after being taken in last year’s draft.

Two teams coming off big wins will begin Week Five on Thursday Night Football. After their win against the defending Super Bowl champs, the Buffalo Bills are set to visit the 2-2 Cleveland Browns.

The Jacksonville Jaguars could end up being one of the worst teams that the league has seen in quite some time. As a result, they are the biggest underdogs, getting 11.5 points when they face the St. Louis Rams, who are just 1-3. Jacksonville has lost its first four games by an average of 24.5 points.

While the Jaguars have been historically bad, the Denver Broncos have gotten off to one of the best starts in NFL history. They’ve won every game by at least 16 points and have yet to score fewer than 37. Even on the road, they are favored by a touchdown over the Dallas Cowboys. With Peyton Manning leading what could be a record-breaking offense, the over/under for the contest is higher than any other.

Following their blowout win on Monday Night Football, the undefeated New Orleans Saints are underdogs for the first time this year. They’ll get one point when they visit the Chicago Bears, who suffered their first loss in Week Four.

The New England Patriots have yet to be beaten, and the New York Giants remain winless, but that is expected to change for both teams on Sunday. New England is a slight underdog in Cincinnati, while the Giants are favorites against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Week Five features the least amount of games, thus far, in the 2013 NFL season. Only 14 contests are scheduled with the Minnesota Vikings, Pittsburgh Steelers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Washington Redskins on their bye weeks.

Below are the complete betting lines for all the Week Five games, including the point spreads and totals. These are the consensus odds from multiple sportsbooks in Las Vegas.
