“Gravity,” directed by Alfonso Cuarón, won seven Oscars at the 86th Academy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night, and when the Sandra Bullock-starrer was busy picking up awards at the Oscars, NASA was busy sharing real photos taken in space, which look like stills from the movie.

NASA used the hashtag #RealGravity to tweet a gallery of photos from space, showing astronauts working on the International Space Station, the Hubble telescope, and scenes of Earth from space. NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, in Maryland, also posted some stunning pictures on Flickr.

“Gravity,” starring George Clooney and Sandra Bullock, is a space drama that shows two astronauts and their attempts to return back to Earth after an accident in space. The film was nominated for 10 academy awards, out of which it won seven, including Best director, Best original score and Best cinematography.

"Congrats to all involved with #Gravity for all the Oscar wins! Thanks for igniting our minds to keep exploring," NASA tweeted on Monday, after the Oscars.
