Can we start this show already?! The highly anticipated third season of “American Horror Story” has yet to premiere but creator Ryan Murphy is already talking about season 4!
“Coven,” the third installment in the FX mini-series is set to frighten viewers on Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 10 p.m. The show has been leaking spoilers and teasers through promo photos and videos, but the latest gossip on the show comes straight for Ryan Murphy’s mouth.
The show creator dished to E! Online that he’s currently writing episode 9 or 10 and is pretty sure that he’s going to reveal the season 4 theme, location and title.
“I always thought it would be cool to have the season end and the last image will be this is what the next season is about and you’ll get the title,” he explained.
Since each season is a new story, Murphy has no problem hinting towards the new drama at the end of each season. In the season 1 L.A. Murder House the creator left a clue for season 2 in the episode “Birth.” The episode featured psychic Billie Dean (Sarah Paulson) talking to Constance (Jessica Lange) about paranormal asylums.
In season 2, “Asylum,” fans were delivered clues that season 3 would be about witches through the jukebox at Briarcliff, which played the songs -- “I Put A Spell On You” and “Love Potion #9.”
When “Coven” premieres on Wednesday, Oct. 9, “American Horror Story” viewers will be transported to modern day New Orleans … as well as New Orleans in the 1800s. In the first episode, “Bitchcraft,” fans will be introduced to Zoe (Taissa Farmiga), a young girl from Florida who discovers the hard way that she’s a descendant from the Salem witches.
Shipped off to attend a special school in New Orleans, Zoe will be meeting other young girls like her, as well as the supreme witch, Fiona (Jessica Lange). At the school, the young witches will learn how to protect themselves because witches are still being persecuted and burned alive in modern day. But “Bitchcraft” won’t be all work and no play. The episode will find Zoe hanging out with fellow witch Madison (Emma Roberts) and going to a frat party where she’ll meet Kyle, a “sweet and grounded” fraternity member. However Kyle’s brothers are not like him, and the frat boys “will regret the horror they visit upon Madison.”
