Here’s just how silly fast food wars have gotten. “The French Fry Burger.”
What, you ask, is the “The French Fry Burger?” Well it’s the latest menu item from Burger King, the Miami-based chain known for its Whoppers and creepy plastic-masked mascot.
Beginning September 1 the company will sell the burger, a regular Burger King burger topped with a (whopping?) four of the chain’s French fries, for $1. The offering is designed to compete with McDonald’s Corp’s successful $1 Menu.
Yep, one of the nation’s largest most sophisticated restaurant firms has just invested who knows how much time and money to invent the burger your four year old’s been making all year with his friends.
