Miami Heat star Chris Bosh and wife Adrienne celebrated the birth of their second child on Monday.
Adrienne Bosh gave birth to a newborn daughter at 5:55 a.m. on Monday, a representative confirmed to E! Online. The couple has decided to name their second child Dylan Skye Bosh.
"She weighed 6 lbs., 14 oz. and was 19 inches long. Mother and baby are doing great,” Bosh’s spokesperson told E! Online.
After the birth, Adrienne Bosh posted a picture of baby Dylan Skye to her Instagram account. “What a perfect day to witness a miracle and be humbled by the beautiful process of Life and Love,” the photo’s caption read. “We appreciate all the well wishes, positivity, and words of support we have received! To my husband…you continue to bring life to my dreams and joy to my world. I Thank You for helping me welcome this perfect little angel.”
Chris Bosh, 29, also commented on the birth of his daughter via his Twitter account. “I feel like I’m 10 ft. Tall right now! Very happy to welcome another child to the world! #proudfather #BoshFamily,” he tweeted. The 6-foot-11 forward also posted a photo in which he held baby Dylan Skye.
With the birth of his daughter, Chris Bosh now has three children; a 5-year-old daughter with ex-girlfriend Allison Mathis, and a 1-year-old son, Jackson, with Adrienne. Jackson was born last May.
Dylan Skye’s birth is just the latest reason for the Bosh family to celebrate. Chris’ Heat won their second consecutive NBA title last season, and are favored to win for a third time this year.
