A report suggests that Chrissy Haley, the wife of Pittsburgh Steelers offensive coordinator Todd Haley, may have sent nude photos to a man other than her husband.

A photo that allegedly depicts a topless Chrissy Haley posing nude has leaked to the Internet, sports blog Terez Owens notes. The report also insinuates that Todd Haley and his wife are swingers.

“This is allegedly a pic of Haley’s wife Chrissy, sending some pics to a man not named Todd,” Terez Owens’ report says. “The rumor has always been [that] these two swing with the best of them [sic].”

The alleged nude photos of Todd Haley’s wife, Chrissy Haley, can be viewed here. Be warned; the photos are NSFW.

The rumors of that Chrissy Haley nude photos have leaked escalated this week, as several blogs ran their own reports on the story. Gossip blog In Flex We Trust noted that Haley has been sending photos of herself “to ‘taken’ men,” and posted new photos that allegedly depict the Steelers coach’s wife. Those NSFW photos can be viewed here.

It’s unclear if the alleged nude pictures of Chrissy Haley are legitimate. Neither Todd Haley nor his wife have publicly responded to the rumors. The couple has five children together.

This isn’t the first time in 2013 that Todd Haley has been in the news for dubious reasons. In September, the Steelers offensive coordinator came under fire after allegedly autographing a fan’s napkin with the phrase, “Go Steelers! Chiefs Suck!!,” Deadspin reported. Haley coached the Chiefs from 2009 to 2011, and was reportedly spotted at the bar with his wife.

In an interview with the Kansas City Star, Haley confirmed that he had written the message on the napkin, but called it a “non-issue.”

“I wrote something about my former team that I probably shouldn’t, so there was no incident,” Haley said. “I was very surprised when I came to work this morning that it was an issue.”

The alleged nude photos of Chrissy Haley were leaked at the worst possible time for Haley, as the Steelers have sputtered their way to an 0-4 start this season. Pittsburgh’s slow start, coupled with Haley’s rumored rift with quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, could eventually cost the offensive coordinator his job.

Government Shutdown 2013: Republicans Lose Big Among American Public, Poll getdiscountz.blogspot.com

getdiscountz.blogspot.com ® Government Shutdown 2013: Republicans Lose Big Among American Public, Poll

With a 2013 government shutdown now underway, congressional Republicans are walking away bruised, with their lowest approval rating ever, after more than a week of battling with Democrats over a continuing resolution to keep federal agencies open.

After Democrats repeatedly knocked down House measures to delay or otherwise gut Obamacare, Republicans have lost out among Americans, with a majority of the public pointing the finger at them in a poll.

Seventy-four percent of voters who elected the polarized Congress disapprove of the job congressional Republicans are doing, as opposed to 17 percent who approve, the lowest score ever that the Quinnipiac University national poll has recorded.

The government shutdown is the first in 17 years, and resulted from an impasse between Republicans, who want to repeal Obamacare, and Democrats, who are refusing to drag the health care law into immediate budget solutions. Democrats are demanding a clean resolution from Republicans to keep the government funded for at least six weeks and then want to go to a House / Senate conference to discuss a more permanent solution.

Obamacare is still out of favor with a divided public. The same poll shows that 45 percent support it while 47 percent are in opposition. But if Congress is adamant about slashing funding for the law to prevent its implementation, then 58 percent of voters is against this, while 34 percent are for it.

“Americans are certainly not in love with Obamacare, but they reject decisively the claim by Congressional Republicans that it is so bad that it’s worth closing down the government to stop it,” said Peter A. Brown, assistant director of theQuinnipiac University polling Institute.

Here are some other findings from the Quinnipiac poll:

- 72 percent oppose a government shutdown to block Obamacare;

- 64 percent oppose blocking a debt limit increase in order to stop the health-care law;

- More Republicans (49 percent) support the government shutdown than those who oppose it (44 percent);

- As for Democrats, 90 percent, oppose the shutdown versus 6 percent who support it; and

- Obama’s job approval rating is slightly lower than it was in the Aug. 2 poll, showing a 46 to 48 percent approval.

The recent poll was conducted among 1,497 registered voters between Sept. 23 and 29. You can read the rest of the results here.

Anarae Schunk Body Found? Missing University Of Minnesota Student's Dental Records Requested From Family [PHOTO] getdiscountz.blogspot.com

A body found Monday may be that of missing University of Minnesota student Anarae Schunk, and authorities have asked the 20-year-old’s family to provide dental records so they can determine if it is her.

Rosemount police have not told the family whether the missing body is Schunk’s, but they’ve also told the family that Anarae, who has been missing since Sept. 22, is most likely dead.

“I know there have been other bodies that have been found but they haven’t asked us this so it makes it a high interest to us,” Anarae’s brother, Tyson Schunk, told the Minneapolis Star Tribune, referring to the request for dental records.

The body was found near Lonsdale, Minn., about 30 miles from where Schunk was last seen at a bar in Burnsville, Minn., with her ex-boyfriend, Shavelle Chavez-Nelson, and his girlfriend, Ashley Conrade. Schunk’s ex-boyfriend is accused of murdering a man outside Nina’s Grill at around 2 a.m. the day Anarae went missing.

Tyson Schunk said his family is still holding out hope that his sister will be found alive despite the grim news.

“What I want is for her to be here and alive. But if it’s her body, we would rather find her and have closure,” he told the Star Tribune.

A bloody jacket belonging to Anarae was found Monday, according to CBS Minnesota. Police told the television station that the jacket was punctured 18 to 20 times, which may indicate stab wounds.

Activist investor Carl Icahn urged Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) CEO Tim Cook at a dinner Monday night to buy back $150 billion worth of shares, he said in a tweet.

He plans to meet with Cook again in three weeks to discuss the plan further.

In August, Icahn revealed that he had taken a large stake in Apple after the company announced a record buyback program. Now, he wants to see Apple purchase more of its stock.

Apple has been active in returning cash to shareholders over the last year and a half. In April, the company kicked off a buyback program worth $60 billion by the end of 2015. By June, Apple had already repurchased $16 billion of its shares.

--Had a cordial dinner with Tim last night. We pushed hard for a 150 billion buyback. We decided to continue dialogue in about three weeks.

Government Shutdown 2013: Stalemate Drags On As Senate Rejects Motion To Conference getdiscountz.blogspot.com

getdiscountz.blogspot.com ® Government Shutdown 2013: Stalemate Drags On As Senate Rejects Motion To Conference

Hours into a government shutdown, the first in 17 years, Congress is still at a stalemate. The Senate used a majority vote to reject a motion to go to conference with the House of Representatives on Tuesday to hash out the differences in a 2014 continuing resolution to keep the government funded.

The vote was 54 to 46.

“The government is closed because of the irrationality that is going on on the other side of the Capitol,” said Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev.

A continuing resolution is a temporary funding measure that would appropriate money to fully reopen the federal government and keep it open until a more permanent solution is found. Disagreement between lawmakers in the two chambers over the Affordable Care Act, or Obamacare, led to a government shutdown after midnight.

Democrats are adamant about preventing House Republicans from using the continuing resolution and the upcoming debate on increasing the debt limit as a means to destroy the health care law. Republicans have tried more than 40 times to repeal or partially invalidate Obamacare, a law they detest. The state-level exchanges, a critical part of the law’s implementation, went into effect today, offering millions of uninsured Americans an option to get health insurance.

President Barack Obama and Democratic senators have said they are open to any proposals from lawmakers who want to help improve the law. However, they say they are refusing to play partisan games with Republicans at the expense of the economy and the full faith and credit of the U.S.

On Monday night, the House voted 228 to 201 to keep the government open, but delay the individual mandate of Obamacare. Republicans were asking Democrats to give American families the same one-year reprieve in implementing the health care law that business owners got.

A party line vote from the Senate thereafter ensured the House proposal was rejected, leaving the House once again with a "clean" continuing resolution on its hands.

“To Republicans, Obamacare is a punch line to rile up their base,” Reid said on Monday. “But for American families, Obamacare isn’t a punch line -- it’s a lifeline. For millions of Americans the Affordable Care Act is the only option to access quality health insurance at an affordable price.”

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., said every piece of legislation the House sent over was a compromise that would have kept the government open.

“They won't even agree to sit down and work out the differences,” McConnell said after Tuesday vote to table the motion. “They won't even talk about it.”

Apple iOS 7 Release: 15 Ways To Improve Battery Life On Your iPhone Or iPad getdiscountz.blogspot.com

getdiscountz.blogspot.com ® Apple iOS 7 Release: 15 Ways To Improve Battery Life On Your iPhone Or iPad

Since its release date, the adoption rate of iOS 7 has far outpaced that of last year’s iOS 6 release, which means many users are upgrading and learning about all the new changes. But as with any new iOS release, Apple users may be confused by their new device preferences, and wonder why their battery life depletes faster than it did before the iOS 7 upgrade.

We’ve spent a great deal of time with iOS 7, even experimenting with the iOS 7 betas prior to the public release date, and we’ve accumulated 15 great ways to reduce battery life on your iPhone or iPad running iOS 7. Let’s get into it:

1. Airplane Mode: Apple designed its iPhone and iPad to constantly search for a signal to always stay connected, but when you’re in a bad coverage area – or if you’re not using your iPhone or iPad for Internet purposes at that moment – it’s always a good idea to turn off the device’s Wi-Fi and cellular usage temporarily by engaging Airplane Mode. The option is accessible via one’s Settings app, but it can also be easily toggled on and off with the new Control Center in iOS 7, which is activated with a simple swipe from the bottom of one’s screen.

2. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi: Airplane Mode shuts off all connectivity, but if you prefer to be selective, it’s easy to just switch off Bluetooth pairing and Wi-Fi, especially if you’re not in a great service area. Both options are easily accessible via the iOS 7 settings and the Control Center, but be warned: Turning off Wi-Fi without also turning off cellular can hurt battery life, since apps and services will attempt to use your GPS signal in place of normal Wi-Fi.

3. Close Your Apps: Many people don’t realize how many applications are open on their iPhones or iPads, especially since those apps remain open after you click on them until you officially close them. Luckily for iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen. Try to remove any power-hungry apps that use cellular or location data, which most certainly will drain your battery life faster.

4. Delete Your Apps: Apps are great, but owning too many could be one of the causes behind your battery life problems. In iOS 7, apps not only will continue using location and notification services when they’re not in use, but they’ll also update automatically in the background – in other words, each app you download sets more constraints on your device’s battery life. Simply hold your finger on an app until all the apps start wiggling and little X’s appear in the top left corner of the icon. Click the “X” to delete an app from iOS 7.

5. Limit Notifications: Most apps have notification settings, which allow those companies to push you updates and alerts as soon as they happen; however, these updates are usually unnecessary. To choose which apps you want to display notifications, visit the Privacy section of the Settings app and toggle off any apps you don’t want to send you notifications.

6. Limit Location Services: Apps within iOS 7 will leverage GPS technology to find your location, but for many apps, offering one’s location isn’t necessary, and using the GPS can be a major drain on one’s battery life. It’s easy to turn off all Location Services within iOS 7 – simply visit the Privacy section of the Settings app – but you may want some apps to always use your location data, such as Google Maps or Find My iPhone, so you may want to be selective with which apps and services you want to toggle off.

7. Hidden Cellular Data: Cellular data is a major drain on battery life, and there are three small cellular settings embedded within other app preferences. In Safari, users have the option to sync items in their reading list across all devices via iCloud; in the iTunes & App Store settings, users can enable downloads, iTunes Match and iTunes Radio to occur over cellular (they’re otherwise reserved for Wi-Fi); and finally, the third hidden setting is embedded within the iCloud Documents and Data section of one’s Settings, which allows for synching of app data that uses iCloud storage. All three of these hidden cellular features impact battery life on iOS 7, so users can easily toggle these off to conserve power.

8. Limit AirDrop: One of the newest features in the release of iOS 7, AirDrop lets users share photos, location points, links and documents with other nearby iOS 7 devices. It’s a great sharing feature, but leaving it on will constantly have your iPhone or iPad searching for other nearby devices. It’s easy to turn it off when it’s not in use: Simply swipe up from the bottom of the screen to activate Control Center and toggle off AirDrop.

9. Change One's Brightness: This feature tends to impact battery life on iOS more so than any other preference or setting, but one’s brightness settings on the iPhone or iPad tend to change after the initial update to iOS 7. It’s good to keep your iPhone or iPad dim on a regular basis, but you can also modify the screen’s brightness automatically by toggling “Auto-Brightness” within the “Wallpapers & Brightness” section in Settings.

10. Turn Off Your Device: Many users wait for their iPhone or iPad to auto-lock, rather than simply turning it off when it’s not in use. This is more of a habitual change, rather than an actual setting within iOS 7, but it’s just as important to conserving one’s battery life. A little bit can go a long way.

11. Turn Off Auto Downloading: Apple introduced an auto-downloading feature in iOS 7, which allows apps and downloads to automatically occur without user intervention. It’s convenient, sure, but it’s also a drag on battery life. Visit the “Automatic Downloads” setting in the “iTunes & App Store” section of iOS 7 settings to turn this feature off.

12. Turn Off Background App Refreshing: Having one’s apps update their data in the background is helpful, but just like auto-downloading, it hurts battery life on iOS 7. Simply visit the “General” section within Settings and switch off all Background App Refresh services, or select which individual apps you want to refresh their data automatically.

13. Turn Off Spotlight Search: By swiping down from the middle of the iOS 7 home screen, users can search the entire index of their iPhone or iPad. This feature has always been useful in iOS, but keeping and using this index can affect one’s battery life. Visit the General section within iOS 7 settings and turn off Spotlight Search by toggling off each data type listed.

14. Don’t Fetch Email: Just like apps that automatically download, having one’s email set to “Fetch” in iOS 7 can drain one’s battery life, especially if it’s seeking servers every five or 15 minutes. It’s best to refresh one’s email manually. Visit the “Mail, Contacts, Calendars” section in Settings, click “Fetch New Data” and at the bottom, click “Manually.”

15. Turn Off Parallax and Dynamic Backgrounds: It’s true that iOS 7 makes some users queasy, and that’s likely due to the advanced motion effects that make the iPhone or iPad feel alive when you sway the device up and down, or from side to side. These dynamic effects are cool, but totally unnecessary, and they do decrease one’s battery life. Since they don’t affect the functionality of iOS 7, it’s easy to turn these effects off. Visit Settings, click on “General” and then click on “Accessibility.” Switch on “Reduce Motion” to halt the parallax effect from the lock and home screens. If you already have a dynamic background as your wallpaper, simply choose a stationary image instead.

Apple made iOS 7 compatible with the iPhone 4, 4S, 5, 5c and 5s, the iPad 2, 3 and 4, and the fifth-generation iPod Touch. For more on the iOS 7 release, check out our list of 21 features shown in photos.

NFL 2013 Week 5 Lines: Point Spreads, Totals And Complete Betting Odds From Las Vegas getdiscountz.blogspot.com

getdiscountz.blogspot.com ® NFL 2013 Week 5 Lines: Point Spreads, Totals And Complete Betting Odds From Las Vegas

The first quarter of the 2013 NFL season didn’t go exactly as many experts predicted. The NFC, which was expected to be the dominant conference, is home to 11 of the 13 teams that have a losing record.

One NFC team that has lived up to the hype has been the Seattle Seahawks. They’ll participate in, maybe, the most highly-anticipated matchup of the week when they visit the Indianapolis Colts. It’s the first time Russell Wilson and Andrew Luck will face off after being taken in last year’s draft.

Two teams coming off big wins will begin Week Five on Thursday Night Football. After their win against the defending Super Bowl champs, the Buffalo Bills are set to visit the 2-2 Cleveland Browns.

The Jacksonville Jaguars could end up being one of the worst teams that the league has seen in quite some time. As a result, they are the biggest underdogs, getting 11.5 points when they face the St. Louis Rams, who are just 1-3. Jacksonville has lost its first four games by an average of 24.5 points.

While the Jaguars have been historically bad, the Denver Broncos have gotten off to one of the best starts in NFL history. They’ve won every game by at least 16 points and have yet to score fewer than 37. Even on the road, they are favored by a touchdown over the Dallas Cowboys. With Peyton Manning leading what could be a record-breaking offense, the over/under for the contest is higher than any other.

Following their blowout win on Monday Night Football, the undefeated New Orleans Saints are underdogs for the first time this year. They’ll get one point when they visit the Chicago Bears, who suffered their first loss in Week Four.

The New England Patriots have yet to be beaten, and the New York Giants remain winless, but that is expected to change for both teams on Sunday. New England is a slight underdog in Cincinnati, while the Giants are favorites against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Week Five features the least amount of games, thus far, in the 2013 NFL season. Only 14 contests are scheduled with the Minnesota Vikings, Pittsburgh Steelers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Washington Redskins on their bye weeks.

Below are the complete betting lines for all the Week Five games, including the point spreads and totals. These are the consensus odds from multiple sportsbooks in Las Vegas.
