Just hours after Miley Cyrus “unfollowed” her fiancé, actor Liam Hemsworth on Twitter, a report has surfaced claiming that the 20-year-old “Wrecking Ball” singer is officially on a break from the “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” star.
According to a report from Radar Online, the twosome has decided to take a break from their three-year relationship following weeks of reports that their romance is on the rocks. “They’ve split for now,” a source told the publication Monday. “Miley and Liam have a very tumultuous relationship and both are exhausted. It’s a complicated relationship.” While the twosome is taking a hiatus from one another, the wedding is still reportedly on. “[It] is on hold for now. It’s not cancelled but it doesn’t look promising,” said the source.
Last week Cyrus was rumored to be dating her “Bangerz” album music producer Mike WiLL Made It. “[They have] grown close after long hours spent in the studio,” a source revealed to Star magazine, claiming that their budding romance is obvious to those close to the former Disney star, the insider also citing the 24-year-old music professional as the cause of Cyrus' recent change in appearance. “[He is responsible] for her drastic makeover from a Disney sweetheart to a raunchy party girl. [She has] been diving in head first with Mike,” said the source.
Cyrus is only the one that has reportedly moved on, Hemsworth was allegedly recently spotted kissing an unidentified brunette in Toronto Friday, a report which he vehemently denied. The 23-year-old actor was also said to have been seeing actress January Jones. According to a report from Us Weekly, Hemsworth sent a series of explicit texts to the “Mad Men” star. A rep for Hemsworth confirmed to JustJared.com Wednesday that the allegations are untrue, saying, “We officially never comment on his personal life; however, we are breaking with tradition to set the record straight. The story of Liam Hemsworth and January Jones is entirely fabricated. There is no truth whatsoever to this tabloid fiction.”
Following Cyrus’ performance of “Blurred Lines” with singer Robin Thicke at the MTV Video Music Awards last month, multiple reports have surfaced that Hemsworth was unhappy with his fiancés' risqué TV appearance. “He is so over her and wants to make a clean break,” an inside source previously revealed to Us Weekly. “[He is] just weeks away from calling it off permanently.”
