Advanced Micro Devices, Inc., more commonly known as AMD (NYSE:AMD), announced it will live stream their 2014 Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) Product Showcase event at 3 p.m. EDT from Hawaii on Wednesday to unveil their latest GPU offerings for 2014.

At Hawaii’s Diamond Head Park, AMD corporate Vice President of Visual Computing, Raja Koduri told press to look forward to announcements for several AMD product features including, Eyefinity, Crossfire, and Linux driver support according to Anandtech.

AMD is expected to unveil the latest Radeon graphics cards which have been dubbed the “Volcanic Islands” series of GPUs.

Among the AMD Radeon Volcanic Islands series of graphics cards expected to be announced is the rumored high-end GPU codenamed “Hawaii.”

The codename for the AMD Hawaii GPU was leaked back in June, when several tech websites discovered the codenames inside preliminary AMD graphics drivers.

According to Fudzilla, the AMD Hawaii GPU is expected to be priced at under $600. However that price has not been confirmed.
