Tim Tebow’s career as an NFL quarterback may be finished, but the 26-year-old now has a standing offer to become the face of an Arena Football League franchise.

The Los Angeles KISS, owned by the legendary rock band that bears the same name, reportedly offered Tebow a contract on Monday, USA Today reports. The deal is said to be for three years and would be worth “millions” of dollars.

"Acquiring Tebow would not only be a great investment for the team, but his exciting style of play would definitely send shockwaves through the League," KISS bassist and entrepreneur Gene Simmons said in a press release. "We're excited for the opportunity to see him with an LA KISS uniform on, and for the LA KISS fans to be rockin' their Tebow shirts and jerseys."

LA KISS co-owner Brett Bouchy echoed Simmons’ enthusiasm, comparing Tebow’s career to that of Kurt Warner, a former Arena League MVP who later enjoyed similar success in the NFL. "Similar to how Kurt Warner blossomed in the NFL after becoming one of the greatest quarterbacks in AFL history, we feel our league is the best place for Tim to refine his skills and gain valuable repetitions,” Bouchy said in the press release. “We have tremendous faith in Tim's ability to succeed in the AFL."

Although LA KISS representatives say that Tebow “is currently reviewing the offer,” the southpaw quarterback has balked at similar proposals in the past. Despite a lack of suitors among NFL teams, the 26-year-old has turned down several offers to play in the Canadian Football League (CFL), and reportedly refuses to play any position other than NFL quarterback, Sports Illustrated reports.

This isn’t the first time that an Arena League team has shown interest in Tebow. The AFL's Orlando Predators expressed interest in signing Tebow last March, shortly before the New York Jets released him. Coincidentally, Bouchy owned the Predators at the time.
