Is it a hot new trend among celebrities to wax their babies' eyebrows? Kim Kardashian came under fire from the Twittersphere after she posted (an adorable) picture of her daughter North West to Instagram on Monday. Little Nori showed off a bright grin to the world, and while plenty of Kardashian fans were writhing with joy, the naysayers couldn’t help but find something to pick on about the baby and her reality star of a mother.
On Tuesday, Kim K responded to those who accused her of plucking/waxing/grooming her 6-month-old daughter’s brows. The starlet, 33, took to Twitter over the claim, which she ultimately deemed “sick.”
"Do people really think I would wax my daughter's eyebrows so young?" the first-time mom asked. "Come on, I'd wait until she's at least 2 1/2!"
A moment later she shot back: "I'm kidding!!! It's pretty sick for people to insinuate that I would wax my daughter's eyebrows. They are thick, natural, and amazing!"
The Twitterati may have jumped the gun in accusing Kardashian of grooming her daughter’s eyebrows, but it wouldn’t be the first time a celebrity has come forward and admitted to using a beauty product, which is meant for adults, on her daughter. Farrah Abraham, the girl who first appeared on “Teen Mom” and then infamously released a sex tape with A-list porn star James Deen, wrote on her blog that she got rid of a few stray hairs of her daughter Sophia’s brow while she slept when the little girl was only 3.
Abraham defended her parenting choice on Bethenny Frankel’s talk show. Radar Online quoted her: “After that whole situation in the media, I actually got a lot of fan mail from girls who were younger, who did have unibrows and they only wished that their moms would have helped them.”
