Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., has some grievances with the government, some of his congressional colleagues, and even his father, Ron Paul, and he took to Twitter on Monday to air them.

It was the senator’s way of celebrating Festivus, the fake holiday popularized in an episode of “Seinfeld” to revolt against the commercialization of Christmas. It is held annually on Dec. 23.

The younger Paul is no stranger to attention-grabbing. In March, he held the Senate floor for 13 hours to filibuster the nomination of John Brennan to head the Central Intelligence Agency. And on Monday, he gave us one more for the road.

Here’s the best of Rand Paul’s Festivus rant.

It started out with these self-promotions on Sunday:

The next day it was on:

Here’s what he thinks of bipartisan deals/bipartisanship:

Then Paul got what he wanted:

Just so the Senate knows (here’s looking at you Majority Leader Harry Reid):

A jab at President Obama and Obamacare:

Mad at dad for this:

The NSA:

Claims that his hair is fake:

Congress

Obviously some of those grievances were serious and others in good fun.
