A Fort Knox soldier has been reported missing by his family after he was last seen Thursday by his parents, the Associated Press reported Wednesday.

Pfc. Daniel Dezinno, 30, disappeared after leaving his parents’ home in Sarasota Fla. He was supposed to return to Fort Knox in Kentucky but never arrived at his military post, according to the AP.

Dezinno’s family called the Florida Highway Patrol and the Georgia Highway Patrol in hopes that someone saw the Fort Knox soldier. But the 30-year-old has yet to be found.

Authorities have few clues in Dezinno’s disappearance. Dave Bristow, a spokesman for the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office, said the Fort Knox soldier’s credit card was last used Friday and that the 30-year-old’s phone was shut off Friday as well.

Bristow said there is no evidence of foul play in Dezinno’s disappearance or that the Fort Knox soldier is in danger, the AP reported. He may be driving a 2005 silver Subaro with the Kentucky license plate 168PHP.
